- Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Judson University   - Master’s Degree in Sport Management and Administration from Northern Illinois University.   Mr. Sovern worked as a teacher in the Indian Prairie 204 School District from 2000-2013.  From 2004-2007, he worked with the Detroit Pistons as part of their summer basketball tour.  In 2008, Sovern was named Director of Camps and Clinics by the Milwaukee Bucks, a position he held until 2012.  He is also the creator of Hustle Camp, a basketball camp designed to give young players the opportunity to learn the game in a fun and competitive way.    Aaron and his wife Liz have two boys, Christian and Brady, and live in Yorkville. The family attends Resurrection Church of the Fox Valley.

 Margaret serves as the administrative assistant and school secretary. She also serves as a grant writer. Prior to joining the YCHS staff in October of 2017, Margaret has served in many positions across numerous professions including managing physicians' offices, the director of operations at St. Paul of Aurora, school and governance board member at Cross Lutheran Church and School, and congregation chairperson for 3 years at Cross Lutheran Church. She, along with her husband Steve, have owned and managed Millbrook Insurance Agency, INC for the past 16 years. Margaret and Steve have been married for 27 years and have two children.

 Over the past decade, Michelle and her husband John have built an organic fertilizer spreading company that serves farmers and local municipalities across Northern Illinois. Over time, with their farming heritage, the operation has grown to 80 employees and serves communities, landowners and local farmers across Northern Illinois. As a result of their agri-business success, love for Christ, and dedication to equip a generation who can impact the world, John and Michelle have answered the call to be on the founding team of Yorkville Christian High School. The couple has donated farmland for the school’s 32 acre campus. They are also active in 4-H & Illinois Junior Rodeo, host numerous tours and free community events, including National Progressive Ag Safety Day and an annual backyard bible school camp for children at their home farm in Sheridan, IL.

Mr. Vester has 10 years of collegiate teaching experience   20 years of broadcast media and audio visual communication experience.  He has coached youth sports for 17 years and also performed, recorded, and toured as a professional musician.

They attend Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, Illinois, where he teaches Sunday School to third and fourth grade students.

He graduated from Aurora University, where he played football and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. Bryan lives in Bolingbrook with his wife, Ebony, and their two children, Judah & Eliana.

Mr. M. believes it is important for students to graduate with an ability to defend their Biblical worldview using supporting biological and scientific evidence. Mark is married to his wife, Stephanie, and attends Shorewood Baptist Church.

 - Concordia University - Seward  - Palmer College of Chiropractic, Doctor of Chiropractic  - Certified athletic trainer and chiropractic physician.  Serves as the school's strength and conditioning coach. As YCHS grows and adds additional athletic programs, Dr. Schutt will consult with each respective staff on how to better enable the athletes to reach their maximum potential. He will organize the workouts for the school's athletes and run performance classes to equip each with the skill needed to perform at a high level.  Dr. Schutt and his wife, Lori, have four boys (CJ, Jacob, Colton, and Jaden), attend Cross Lutheran Church, and reside in Yorkville.

Agna uses her own experiences in learning English at the age of nine to introduce her culture and native language to her Spanish class students.  - Experience in community health and nutrition as it applies to women, infants, and children. Her background in this field plays an important role in her health education class as she informs her students on the importance of their physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.
